Andy &
Margaux
are getting married!
And we’re so happy you will be there!
We are getting married in beautiful York -
birthplace of Andy and loved Harry Potter city of Margaux.
We are beyond excited to have so many of our closest friends and family from opposite sides of the world in the same place.
THE CEREMONY
Tuesday 5th August, 2025
at 2pm, The bootham suite, York registry office
The ceremony will last approximately 45 minutes
THE RECEPTION AT
No.1 YORK, by Guesthouse
for speeches, food, drinks,
and music, 3pm until late
1 Clifton, York YO30 6AA, United Kingdom
No.1 York, by GuestHouse is a short walk from York Registry Office.
Dress, formal.
We are having an adults-only wedding, but babes in arms are welcome.
THE NIGHT BEFORE
Monday 4th August,
5pm - 10pm
Join us for a casual evening the night before the wedding at Eagle and Child in York where the most important Pommes and Aussies in our lives can finally meet. We have exclusive use of an outdoor courtyard and food is available from the bar. All kiddos/extra attendees are very welcome.
For anyone interested, we can take a short walk around the Walls and via York Minster back to the Eagle & Child before drinks. The walk is only 1.5km and has some amazing views. It does also have some ancient, narrow stairways making it unsuitable for prams and pushchairs.

No gifts required - your presence is present enough.
But if you feel inclined, we welcome contributions to our future home fund.
Thank you in advance if you are planning to give us a particular present - it is incredibly generous of you. We only ask that you consider that we will likely be moving back to Australia in 2026 and will need to ship it from Dublin to Sydney.
